corpus-callosum: It was only the first day of the tour when we had to sacrifice one of our troops to quell the wrath of the Corvalis Bug People.

(also wonderful) saw Corpus Callosum play a decade ago (at the first Corpus show ever) when there were only three members and they opened for Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu! I met mediatedexperience! The Flower Picker (by Richard Brautigan) Love is an enchanted puzzle that you cannot put together, even if you are trying hard. 1. I wonder how Ed makes love to her. 2. Libby is very gentle. Do you remember a wind in your childhood, stirring softly your mother’s hair? Well, Libby’s soul makes that wind seem like a hurricane. 3. I wonder why I had to goof with her. Why did I have to...

Biggity boing. I like Mood Area 52. I learned about Oregon history while listening to pleasant Tom Waits/Jason Webley-esque music.

Oregon is really lovely. Unfortunately, it’s midnight, so I can’t see it. I’ve also just run out of Have One On Me to listen to and I’ll be in the car for another hour, so I could use some entertainment. Anyone awake out there?

Hello, Oregon!
We crossed the state line, and immediately saw snow on the side of the road. Does California have a ban on it, or something?

Christmas
To be honest, the last couple of days have been kind of lame. I’ve been by myself for most of the last two days. On Christmas eve, I cleaned my bathroom. All day today, I’ve been preparing to leave for the 16 day tour which starts tomorrow morning. I saw my mom for about 5 minutes. I talked to my grandmas and my dad on the phone for probably 10 minutes altogether. But then I had a...

goodpoetry: You are tired, (I think) Of the always puzzle of living and doing; And so am I. Come with me, then, And we’ll leave it far and far away— (Only you and I, understand!) You have played, (I think) And broke the toys you were fondest of, And are a little tired now; Tired of things that break, and— Just tired. So am I. But I come with a dream in my eyes tonight, And knock with a rose at...
