Epershandrea - Further From the Truth
This is the mostly complete final project I just turned in for my electronic music class. I didn’t end up using the theremin, but I think it doesn’t need it.
There’s a lot of low end stuff, so laptop speakers simply will not do. Listening on headphones (or with big speakers and a subwoofer) with all the lights and your computer screen turned off is highly recommended.
Epershandrea - Quiet Morning
Remember that song I wrote, that I showed you a couple weeks ago? Here’s the final version of it! Cool!
You can even download it now! Wow!
Epershandrea - Quiet Morning
Here is the first mix of a song I wrote a long time ago while I was half asleep in a hostel in Dublin. Maybe one day when we’re really drunk together I’ll tell you what it’s about.
Special thanks to Stevie for his mad production skillz, recording equipment and help finishing something we started working on more than three years ago.
Epershandrea - All Powerful Hearts
Here’s a song I wrote a long time ago. It was recorded spontaneously in a day sometime last year on a 4-track tape recorder. Please pay close attention to my theremin solo, and please pretend you can’t hear any mistakes.
Lyrics:
This life we will savor
the pleasant, the pain
When we find ourselves saved
it’s her favor we’ve gained
And the taste of her sorrow
when waste this we do
Is the raining tomorrow
that we can’t push through
Umbrellas will help us
forget our wet shoes
Forgetting will keep us
from hearth warm and true
Our bodies are aching
from cold to the bone
And the din of the falling
will wake us alone
Pull back your covers
I’ll keep your sheets warm
Arms are unfolding
and welcoming home
Allow me to, I’ll keep
your love safe inside
All-powerful hearts
will together collide
And how could I forget
the shape of those hands, boy?
Does a sparrow forget the air?
When you’re far away
and you’re lonely, boy
do you forget your
fingers in my hair?
Sever all doubt and
all pain from below
Rise in the lifting
as lighter’s our load
Find me in clouds high
and bow to my smiling
for she is queen if
king is done from his hiding
